About Bobbi A. Chukran
Bobbi A. Chukran was born in Ft. Worth, Texas, graduated from Grapevine High School then attended the University of Texas at Austin where she graduated with a B.A degree. She went on to complete some graduate work in studio arts.
Bobbi is a published author in the area of non-fiction and fiction. In 2009, Bobbi turned her attention to writing plays for youth theatre and in the summer of that same year her first play, Annierella & the (Very Awesome) Good Queen Fairy Cowmother, won First Place in the Youth Education competition in Williston, ND. ANNIERELLA was published in 2010 by Brooklyn Publishers along with a full-length version.
Another award-winner, LITTLE RED RIDING BOOTS & COOTER COYOTE, MASTER OF DISGUISE, was also published by Brooklyn Publishers in 2013.
Since then, several of her other plays have won awards. She is known for her quirky, bouncy language, plays on words and comedy dialogue. Not to mention as many cultural references as she can fit in.
Bobbi is a member of the International Center for Women Playwrights and the Short Mystery Fiction Society.
